Are you concerned about Azzure IT being taken over recently?

If you didn’t already know back in April of this year, Azzure IT, the UK based Microsoft Dynamics partner got acquired by the UK’s leading Microsoft-focused Cloud Services and Digital Transformation providers, Content+Cloud who are part of the Advania group. 

6 months on from the acquisition, should your business be concerned about how they are supporting your business now? 

I use Azzure IT for Microsoft Dynamics Support, should I be concerned? 

If the answer to the above is a resounding no, then you may like to take this opportunity to assess all the options that are available to your business. Given the fact that you made your decision to go with your current partner for a specific reason and being acquired by a bigger partner probably wasn’t part of your decision making! You may find that your business does not feel as important as it once did before the acquisition, potentially having an effect on the overall profitability of your business in uncertain times. 

You would have made your decision to select your partner after thoroughly researching, perhaps even discussing your requirements with a shortlist of Microsoft Gold partners and collating all the pricing before making the final decision on who to select. 

Following this decision, you then discover your chosen partner has been acquired by a bigger partner and everything you did research wise to prepare is now irrelevant, as you will have little or no knowledge of the new partner and how it will impact on your business now and in the future. 

What this means is that you won’t be able to have that personalised approach that you chose your partner for, so it could be a good opportunity for you to start looking for a new partner that both understands and appreciates your business and is not looking to sell up when an opportunity crops up.
