This gives small businesses the chance to use Microsoft’s latest AI tools to enable them to streamline their operations as well as to boost their overall growth. In our latest blog article, we will discuss some of the game changing functionality provided by Copilot and how it can be used effectively with Business Central.

So, for those of you that don’t know, what is Dynamics 365 Copilot?

Put simply, Dynamics 365 Copilot is a cloud-based AI solution that fully integrates with Dynamics 365, the Power Platform as well as with Microsoft 365. The whole purpose of this new product is to deliver natural language processing and AI functionality to the whole Dynamics 365 stack of applications.

Taking this one step further, Copilot will aid you by providing you with the answers to any query you make, help you with tasks and help to simplify complex processes easily.

How is Dynamics 365 Copilot currently used in practice?

You may have already experienced the power of this AI capability in action when using both Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook. Added to which your business might also be using Teams Premium (we discussed this in a blog article) and makes use of OpenAI’s GPT technology to allow meetings and chats to be more personalised, secure and intelligent.

So, what can we expect in terms of Dynamics 365 Copilot functionality for Dynamics?

  • AI can enable you to quickly and effectively create email responses to customers and build email summaries of Teams meetings within Microsoft Outlook, which can consist of CRM data including pricing.
  • You will find that Copilot can make use of data from within Business Central to allow you to produce catchy marketing messaging that you can use as a starting point.
  • Automate tedious daily tasks to free up time for your employees so they can concentrate on more important tasks that can help your business to grow.
  • Copilot is able to extract important data insights to enable financial forecasts and cash flows to be analysed. AI is also useful in helping to plot future business challenges.
