Following on from the Microsoft Inspire 2023 event that took place last week, given the whole host of things announced by Microsoft, we’ve decided that in our latest blog article, we will outline 5 announcements from the event that you won’t want to miss.
1 – Sales Copilot has been launched
You will find that Microsoft has recently announced a new role-based copilot which will be named Sales Copilot. Sales Copilot is equipped with a whole host of different functionalities such as the ability to generate contextual emails that makes use of Dynamics 365 data, condensing customer info from Outlook into summaries as well as delivering real-time tips throughout Teams meetings.
These new capabilities for Copilot will be in preview next month before being readily available in September.
2 – Azure Back Up and Archive
You will be pleased to know that Microsoft 365 backup now can deliver an extra quick recovery for your OneDrive, SharePoint and Exchange data and a restore SLA for higher data quantities. As well as this, Microsoft 365 Archive gives you a low-cost data storage tier inside Microsoft SharePoint enabling you to store or archive data.
3 – Microsoft 365 Copilot costings revealed
Microsoft has also announced the pricing for Microsoft 365 Copilot which will now come in at approx £23.40 per user per month. This new functionality will be available for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard and Business premium customers.
As well as this, Copilot will make available a wide selection of AI functionality which can easily integrate with Word, Excel, Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications.
4 – Wave 2 2023 update plans revealed for Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform
You no longer have to wait as Microsoft has released its 2023 Wave 2 release plans for Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform. You will be delighted to find out that there are a whole host of new and exciting improvements coming between October 2023 and March 2024. With the number of new features revealed as well as AI functionality, it is pretty clear that Microsoft is fully committed to helping businesses to work towards a full digital transformation.
5 – AI functionality delivered to Power Automate Process Mining
You will be pleased to hear that Power Automate Process Mining will become fully available in August 2023. Put simply, this new and improved feature will help businesses to transform their processes, reduce costs as well as finding ways of operating more efficiently.
Better still, you will be able to make use of visual process maps and review end-to-end processes through the use of AI-powered root cause analysis to extract useful insights on how to improve your overall processes.
