Has Quantiq's recent takeover got you worried?

If you haven’t heard already, we have recently received the news that Quantiq, the UK based Microsoft Dynamics Partner has been taken over by Avanade, the Global Dynamics partner. 

I am currently with Quantiq for Microsoft Dynamics Support, should I be worried at all? 

If the answer to the above question is no, then you may want to reconsider all the options available to your business. After all, there are no doubts that you picked your partner for a reason and being taken over by a large global conglomerate probably wasn’t at the top of that list! Your business may not have the same importance as it did prior to the takeover, potentially impacting on your bottom line in uncertain times. 

You probably decided to choose your current Dynamics partner after thorough research, perhaps even talking to a few Microsoft Gold partners, and getting quotes before coming to your final decision.  
 
Then you find further down the road that your partner has been taken over and all the prior research you had done was basically for nothing, as you won’t know anything about the new partner and how it will impact on your business going forwards. 

Essentially, this will mean that you won't have the personal aspect that you chose, so it might be worth starting to search for a new partner that appreciates your business and is not looking to sell up at the drop of a hat!
