Important Information about your Business Central Update

Be sure to re-enable Advantage’s Granular (GDAP) Security Roles in the Microsoft Partner Centre to allow them access to your BC environments.  It’s really difficult to support your system without this and could cause delays in resolving your issues. 

If you need to add or remove recipients of the Microsoft notifications, please follow these instuctions.   

These notifications are extremely important as they will also include advice regarding BC Updates and any Extensions that might not update correctly which could cause you downtime.

How do you find out of one of your Extensions is not going to update automatically

If you do receive an email saying that an extension will not update, its essential that you log this as a support cases, immediately.  This will  give you and Advantage time to get a developer to take a look at it and get it fixed  for you to test in your Sandbox, ready for the Live company update.  No drama!  Leaving this to the last minute of ignoring these emails can cause unnecessary stress and at worst, down time for your finance people, if enough time wasn’t left to get the issues resolved.  If you need to check who is receiving the notifications or to make changes, please follow these instructions.  It’s also helpful is you can add Advantage BC Support team (navsupport@advantge.co.uk and your account manager).  We can not monitor every single one of our clients’ notifications from the support desk but at least we will have a point of reference to work from once you log a case with us.
