Before 2019 comes to a close and all of us break to share the holidays with family and friends, we wanted to take a few moments to wish you a very happy festive season (however you choose to celebrate it) and a wonderful New Year.
2019 has been quite the year. Brexit has left UK businesses in limbo, with most making multiple plans to account for the many different ways the Brexit negotiations could still go. Whatever your views on staying or leaving, it is vital to have some plans in place for the 31st January, come what may.
Cybersecurity has also been a recurring theme for 2019. Major attacks, such as the one on British Airways or Marriott have become a recurrent feature of our news, and organisations need to be constantly vigilant when it comes to IT security. Cyber attacks, especially those that are due to hackers exploiting easily avoidable vulnerabilities, will only increase and you need to be especially vigilant at this time of the year.
The time to build the (fire) wall is now.
No matter what fortunes 2019 brought, some good some bad, we here at Advantage have been delighted to work with each and every one of our clients. And while there is much work to be done in 2020, we wanted to thank you all for your support, trust and friendship.
