Microsoft recently held their annual Inspire conference for Microsoft partners. This is where the whole partner community are brought together to find out about best practices, the latest product developments as well as new skills and techniques to provide to their customers.
In this blog article, we will provide you with some of the key talking points from Microsoft Inspire 2022.
Microsoft has changed hybrid work back to work
The need for businesses to use new working models has become compulsory. The key to any successful strategy revolves around increasing both the collaboration and integrating processes at the same time as making employees feel valued. This is what Microsoft is now referring to as ‘the digital imperative’.
You will also find that Excel Live showcases how Microsoft is helping to increase the collaboration between individuals regardless of whether they are working from home or in the office.
Excel Live allows people to work together on workbooks within Microsoft Teams. By using the annotations features provides people with the opportunity to both draw, type or react to shared meeting content through a whiteboard which updates in real-time.
One of the other things that Microsoft mentioned to help improve collaboration across businesses was Microsoft Viva. This is an employee experience platform that makes use of numerous tools to help businesses to improve productivity as well as collaboration.
Maximise your productivity across your business
It is now absolutely essential that your business looks to gain more value from less manual input. The capabilities provided by both Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform give you that chance to ramp up productivity through both modernisation and automation.
To put this into context in the form of an example, you will find that inside the Microsoft range of products there is a new and improved Microsoft Digital Contact Centre platform which is an extensible and collaborative contact centre solution which is driven by Microsoft Teams, Dynamics 365, the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure. Through this digital contact solution, your business will be able to drive streamlined customer journeys.
Be sustainable as a business
There is a lot of talk around being sustainable but it all revolves around changing the mindset of your business to a sustainability first one. As businesses, we have the capabilities to do more to help drive this. This can start from recycling chips from data centre upgrades into educational computers as well as helping to formulate green initiatives to help protect the environment which forms part of Microsoft’s key strategy going forwards.
This is where Microsoft’s latest development ‘Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability’ comes to the fold. As this solution enables businesses to record, report and help to reduce the environmental impact they are having through the use of Microsoft Sustainability Manager. The whole purpose of its launch was to bring together data intelligence, create a sustainable IT infrastructure & help to reduce the carbon footprint posed by businesses trading.
In Summary
It goes without saying but Microsoft Inspire 2022 helps to demonstrate that Microsoft is continuing to lead the market when it comes to innovations across the technology sector. Advantage are delighted to help make these plans a reality for our customers going forwards.
