Hold the front page, Microsoft 365 Copilot now available to all SMEs

If you didn't already know, Microsoft has recently announced that Microsoft 365 Copilot will now be available to all with no minimum seat requirements in place. Put simply, this means that all businesses regardless of size will be able to have access to all the exciting new features brought to them by Microsoft’s new and improved AI-driven digital assistant. 

Open the market to the benefits of Microsoft 365 Copilot 

In the past, Microsoft had been adamant that Microsoft 365 Copilot was only to be used by businesses that have over 300 seats which completely excluded SMEs. However, finally common sense has now prevailed with Microsoft removing this minimum requirement, meaning that businesses won’t miss out and can fully benefit from this new tool to transform the way they work through AI. 

So, for those of you that don’t know what Microsoft 365 Copilot is? 

Put simply, it is an AI tool that enables users to streamline tasks and improve productivity. It can be used alongside your main Microsoft 365 tools that you know and love such as Excel, Word just to name a few. With this coupled with large language models (LLMs) and your business data, you will find that Copilot provides intelligent suggestions to improve or optimise your work. 

So, what exactly does Copilot do? 

In real-time, Microsoft 365 Copilot can help to ramp up productivity, use automation for tasks and help to aid recovery from creativity droughts. Along with this, you can use Copilot to provide a summary of information, redraft sentences, collate ideas and much, much more. Taking everything one step further, it can even help you to create presentations for you and help you to put together your first draft. 

It is important to note that AI generated content should only be used as a guide. You must check the facts, review, make changes and change it to reflect your own work. 

I want to get Microsoft 365 Copilot, how do I get it? 

You will be able to take advantage of the benefits that come with Microsoft 365 Copilot if your business has a subscription with either of the following: 

• Office 365 E3 or E5 licenses 
• Microsoft 365 Business Standard 
• Microsoft 365 Business Premium 

However, you don’t have to panic if you don’t have any of the above.
