In our recent blog post, we covered how to setup a Subscription Management page in ClickDimensions within Dynamics 365. In our latest tips & tricks article, we will be showcasing the different records (Posted Subscription Records and Posted Preference Records) that are created when someone submits their subscription preferences through the Subscription Management page and where to find these records from within Dynamics 365.
Posted Subscription Records
The 'Posted Subscription Record' is created after a submission has been made which essentially provides a snapshot of all the preferences that have been selected during the submission of a Subscription Management page.
How to view Posted Subscriptions in Dynamics 365
Step 1: To view all the posted subscriptions within Dynamics 365, go to 'ClickDimensions' then select 'Posted Subscriptions'.
Step 2: You can now view all the posted subscriptions that have come in via the Subscription Management page.
Posted Preference Records
Each Posted Subscription record submitted includes individual Posted Preferences records. These records are created for every Subscription List that is visible on the Subscription page which records the individual's specific preferences for each Subscription List.
For example, if you have setup ten Subscription Lists as options for users, you will then have ten Posted Preference records created.
A Posted Preference record will show an individual's specific preference for a specific Subscription List and will reveal how this information was obtained.
How to view Posted Preferences in Dynamics 365
Step 1: To view all the posted preferences within Dynamics 365, go to 'ClickDimensions' then select 'Posted Preferences'.
Step 2: You can now view all the individual posted preferences that have been created within each Subscription List in ClickDimensions.
