Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Licence Types

You can combine different Dynamics 365 user licenses by individual apps or through a plan that covers all of the available applications within the plan.

Individual apps: Licensed by individual users by a base application that is defined by their role within the business i.e Sales or Customer Service. For these applications you will need to pick either an Enterprise or Professional capabilities to allow you to only pay for what you need. From here you can add more than one application to a base licence for usage needs that need a number of applications at a lower cost rate.

License by Plan which as of October 2019 has been withdrawn completely by Microsoft

Team Member: The Team Member Licence is simple for users that only need the most basic of rights. This will allow them to read any data, access reports and complete any day to day tasks.
